Restaurants
It should come as little surprise to you but I have a weakness for good food and a nice atmosphere. I’m not one to be selfish, so here are my top 3 Michelin and non-Michelin restaurants.
Top 3 Michelin
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal ⭐⭐
Why I love it
I’m always on the hunt for the best price-quality ratio. In the top 10 is, of course, Heston’s Dinner. They offer dishes from as far back as the court of Henry VIII, with a modern twist. I highly recommend the chicken liver parfait designed to perfectly resemble a mandarin - followed by the best duck ever.
La Dame de Pic London ⭐
Why I love it
If you need a great set menu for under £50, then this is the place to be. Anne-Sophie Pic offers classic French cuisine without dangerous experiments - just exciting flavour combinations of top quality ingredients
The Ninth ⭐
Why I love it
I just love this small intimate restaurant. Exceptional tapas style food made using classical French techniques. You need to try out the roasted duck!
Bocca di Lupo
Why I love it
The best way to enjoy this tapas style Italian restaurant is sitting at the marble counter, watching the chefs at work. Great food from across Italy for a reasonable price.
Nobel Rot
Why I love it
A wine bar and restaurant from wine experts behind the magazine of the same name. Absolutely stunning wine selection and simple local food.
Bellamy's
Why I love it
I understand why this is HM the Queen’s favorite restaurant in London. This French brasserie-style restaurant serves simple French classics alongside an exclusively French, impeccable wine list. You have to try the Duck à l'orange - one of the best I've ever tasted.
